The New Kent D-Star Radio Club's purpose is to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members and the community, to promote amateur radio knowledge, fraternalism, and individual operating proficiency, promote D-Star radio and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio in the community
People from surrounding areas and clubs are welcome to check us out and may apply to join our club if interested. All are welcome to apply for membership. Membership dues are low, and if you are a family living in the same household, there is a discount available. There is no age limit to become a member.
We plan to hold monthly meetings, and hold our annual elections in our December meeting to elect new officers. We meet the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM..
